7. Account and Data Deletion
BUMA users can delete their account in the app or submit a deletion request through our contact page.
- In the app, go to Settings -> Account -> Delete Account and confirm the request.
- Deletion removes or de-identifies account identifiers, authentication links, budgets, income and expense entries, categories, accounts, notes, and other content linked to the account.
- Analytics, attribution, crash, and diagnostic data linked to the account is deleted or de-identified where technically feasible.
Limited records may be kept only when required for legal compliance, security and fraud prevention, or legal claims. Such records are retained only for the period required by applicable law or while reasonably necessary for those purposes, then deleted or anonymized. Accounts inactive for 90 consecutive days are automatically deleted or de-identified.
